Quick and Easy Pizza

Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 300 g Self-Raising Flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 300 g Natural Yoghurt

For the Sauce

  • 300 g Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Mixed Herbs
  • Pinch of Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Puree

Topping

  • 200 g Mozzarella (or any other cheese), torn into pieces/grated

Method
 

  • Place two pizza trays into the oven and preheat the oven to 220C/200C Fan/Gas 7.
  • To make the sauce; add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Place into a saucepan and heat over a low-medium heat until thickened.
  • To make the dough; add the flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl and mix. Create a well in the middle and add your Glenilen Farm NaturalYoghurt. Stir with a fork until combined. Once combined remove from the bowl and onto a floured surface and knead until smooth.
  • Cut the dough into three/four equal pieces. Taking one piece at a time, begin to roll it out using a rolling pin, ensuring the surface is well floured so it does not stick.
  • Carefully remove the trays from the oven, dust lightly with flour and add your rolled outbases to the trays.
  • Place bases into the oven and bake for 3-4 minutes until they begin to rise.
  • Remove bases from the oven and flip and top with the sauce and cheese.
  • Place the pizzas back into the oven and cook for 5 minutes or until cheese is bubbling.
  • Serving with your garlic yoghurt dip (see other recipes) and enjoy!
